The MRMPO is considering the following amendments to the 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program:
- Add Project to TIP: Gas Fleet Replacement – Josephine Co. – 5339 (KN22608)
- Add Project to TIP: Gas Fleet Replacement – Josephine Co. – CARES Act (KN22600)
- Add Project to TIP: Purchase Equipment and Construct Bus Charging Facilities (KN22601)
- Add Project to TIP: Gas Bus Fleet Replacement – Josephine Co. 5307 (KN22599)
The TIP fulfills federal requirements (23 CFR Part 450) for a long-range multimodal transportation plan and a short-range project programming document. The planning area includes portions of Josephine & Jackson Counties and the cities of Gold Hill, Grants Pass, and Rogue River.
We are seeking public comment over the next twenty-one (21) days. Anyone wishing to comment should go to the website and click on the “contact us” link.

Request for comment on the update of the Middle Rogue Metropolitan Planning Organization Public Participation Plan
The Middle Rogue Metropolitan Planning Organization (MRMPO) Policy Committee, Josephine County, State of Oregon, will hold a public hearing to review and consider adopting a Public Participation Plan update. The hearing will be held at 2:30 p.m., June 16, 2022, during the Policy Committee meeting at the Grants Pass City Hall, Ridge Room Conference Room, 101 NW “A” Street, Grants Pass, Oregon, and online via Zoom at

The Public Participation Plan provides a guide for engaging the public in transportation planning for the Grants Pass Urbanized Area. The planning area includes portions of Josephine & Jackson Counties and the cities of Gold Hill, Grants Pass, and Rogue River.
