Get Involved!

The Middle Rogue Metropolitan Planning Organization welcomes and encourages community members to participate in the transportation planning process. More voices and wide-ranging interests at the table will yield better planning results. The MRMPO intends for the public to have a say in all phases of metropolitan planning—from identifying needs to evaluating and selecting projects.

The MRMPO has taken steps to ensure that residents can have a significant, meaningful, and rewarding experience assisting with the region’s transportation planning. On top of existing participation opportunities, the MRMPO recently added the Citizens Advisory Committee. This committee has three representatives from Grants Pass, two members representing Josephine County, and one member each for the cities of Rogue River, and Gold Hill and Jackson County, with additional roles for freight, mass transit, and active transportation interests.

Ways to Get Involved

Make
Comments

A key way to get involved is by making comments during public meetings. This can be done in-person, via zoom, in writing, or by email. This is a direct line to the planners, engineers, and officials that make transportation decisions and one of the most powerful ways for residents to share their voices.
